Who we are:
Leica Geosystems' high-tech solutions allow Public Safety and Forensic professionals worldwide to capture and visualize environments and information as a virtual copy of the real world:
Forensic Digital Twin.
We transform the way police officers, crime-, crash-, fire investigators, and others manage forensic mapping, evidence gathering, incident response and scene investigation and reconstruction.
Founded in 1997 and based in Krakow, Poland, CYBID specialises in developing advanced software solutions that support the collection, documentation, analysis, and reconstruction of traffic accidents, criminal incidents, and other events.
CYBID’s flagship application, VSIM Forensic Platform, has been a cornerstone of its success, thanks to our extensive expertise in dedicated reconstruction and investigation software development.
Why choose us? What makes our joint, brand-new offering unique?
Enhanced Visualization
With intuitive but advanced power tools for creating 2D diagrams and 3D models, the Forensic Software Suite enables users to visualize scenes faster, easier, more comprehensively and in more detail than any other solution on the market. Our enhanced visualization facilitates better analysis and communication of findings, allowing crime and accident reconstructionists to gain clearer insights and effectively convey critical information.
Simulation Capabilities
Unique physics-based simulation capabilities assist with accurately recreating events like accidents, collisions, and crimes. Our offering enables investigators to simulate scenarios with precision, providing multiple perspectives and deep insights into incident dynamics. The software analyzes vehicle motion, collision simulations, and pedestrian, passenger, and driver behaviour, considering complex interactions within the environment-human-vehicle system. Advanced algorithms model intricate interactions in a 3D environment, incorporating sophisticated vehicle types and the multibody model.
Virtual Reality (VR)
Using VR technology, our platform enhances crash and crime investigations by streamlining traditional methods and saving time. It offers immersive scene reconstructions and "fly-through" experiences, making it ideal for training investigators. Additionally, it allows judges and jurors to view detailed reconstructions and immersive visualizations in court.
Our advanced platform with crash- and crime-focused modules offers unparalleled software solutions to traffic, crime, and fire investigators. Physics-based simulations and high-quality animations cover every scene documentation stage, from data integration and data analysis to dynamic reconstructions. The platform’s modular design allows user-friendly customization, while an intuitive interface, AI-driven tools, and task automation boost productivity and credibility. The platform includes photogrammetric processing for creating metric images and detailed visualizations from photos and videos. It also features an immersive VR-based system for virtual scene exploration, investigation, and training, with realistic environments and comprehensive documentation capabilities.
V-SIM Forensic Platform offers investigators and reconstructionists unique working capabilities,
providing unmatched performance and reliability.
V-SIM CRASH offers advanced physics-based simulations for precise accident reconstruction, even in complex cases. It includes numerical vehicle models, collision modelling, and biomechanical human body models for detailed analysis of driver, passenger, and pedestrian behaviour. Scooter and bicycle models enhance transport behavior analysis.
V-SIM CRASH Lite allows for comprehensive accident documentation, integrating point cloud data, orthophotos, WMS services, and traditional measurements. It enables the creation of detailed sketches, plans, and 3D visualizations for accurate scene reconstruction.
This basic module can be used for further analysis, simulations, and animations in V-SIM CRASH.
V-SIM CRIME provides powerful tools for analyzing and reconstructing various forensic scenarios. Easy-to-use features and built-in animation libraries allow for the recreation of participant behaviour and other objects involved in the event.
Bullet trajectories, BPA, time-distance dynamics, and witness perspectives enhance forensic analysis and reconstruction.
V-SIM CRIME Lite supports crime and fire scene investigations with efficient forensic documentation tools and creates high-quality It imports point clouds, orthophotos, WMS services, diverse datasets, and classical measurements to accelerate workflows and ensure high-quality materials, which can be used for further analysis and animations in V-SIM CRIME.
VR Simulator enables virtual crime scene investigation, practising inspection procedures, revealing traces, securing evidence, conducting measurements, and taking photographs.
VR Solution Modules provide immersive training with pre-built scenes, navigation tools, and built-in features for securing scenes, collecting evidence, and taking measurements.
Photogrammetric software processes photos, sequences, and CCTV of traffic, criminal, or fire incidents. It creates metric images for measuring object positions, orientations, and dimensions, adds detailed visualizations to situational plans, and supports spatiotemporal movement analysis.
As an accident reconstructionist or crime scene investigator, you can rely on our high-performance laser scanners to capture every detail of accident and crime scenes, as well as the surroundings, quickly, safely, and in high quality. Whether you need industry-leading accuracy to capture evidence or rugged durability for operations in challenging terrain and under difficult conditions, our laser scanners support you at every step of your investigation.
